I am on the right

Links:

  • Here is a interesting website I found by the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA). There is a lot of information on the conferences they hold, what they do as an association, and other valuable information on assistive technology. ATIA

  • This is another website, by the University at Buffalo, that I found to be very useful relating to Assistive technology. It had a lot of information on issues surrounding assistive technology, how to assess students on what kind of assistive technology they should use, and a lot more useful information. AT basics

Videos:

  • This video shows how Ellen, a girl with Cerebral Palsy, communicates on a daily basis using assistive technology.

  • I was looking around the internet and came across this video. It was an interview in ABC news with a lady named Suzanne Robitalle, the founder of the website abledbody.com. She herself has dealt with a disability-- being deaf. In the interview, she talks about some of her favorite assistive technologies. Both the website and interview are really useful in gaining more insight into AT's.
